Pap Smears (Cervical Cancer Screening)
A Pap smear (Pap test) is a routine screening to detect abnormal cervical cells that may indicate cervical cancer or other health concerns. It involves collecting a small sample of cells from the cervix for laboratory analysis.

Why It’s Important:
- Detects early signs of cervical cancer.
- Identifies HPV (human papillomavirus) infections.
- Helps prevent cancer through early treatment.
Healthcare providers prescribe various birth control methods based on individual health needs, lifestyle, and medical history.
